Privacy Policy for InspekCam

1. Overview

InspekCam (the "App") is an Android application that displays the live video feed of USB (UVC) inspection cameras, endoscopes, and borescopes. This Privacy Policy describes how the App handles information when you use it.

The App does not collect, transmit, store on external servers, sell, or share any personal data. All processing happens locally on your device.

2. Camera and Media

The video stream from a connected USB camera or from your phone's built-in cameras is rendered on screen only. It is never uploaded, analyzed remotely, or shared. Photos and videos you capture are saved solely to your device's local gallery (Android MediaStore). You control these files and can delete them at any time.

3. Permissions

• Camera — used only to preview your phone's built-in cameras when you select them in the App.
• USB device access — requested by Android when an inspection camera is plugged in; used only to read its video stream.

4. Analytics and Tracking

The App contains no analytics, advertising, or tracking SDKs, and does not require an account.
